Frequently Asked Questions

Does Spendimo work offline?

Yes. Add expenses, scan receipts, view monthly trends and export CSV offline. Sync and partner updates require an internet connection.

Does Spendimo connect to my bank account?

No. Spendimo never asks you to link a bank account. You enter transactions manually or scan receipts directly into the app.

Where is my financial data stored?

Without Pro sync, your financial entries stay on your device. Pro sync stores both your private and shared entries in your account on our server in Germany. A partner sees only the entries explicitly shared with them; your personal entries remain private to your own account. Read our Privacy Policy.

Can I set up spending limits or envelope budgets?

No. Spendimo is an expense and income tracker, not a budget planner. It helps you record and review your spending, but it does not set spending budgets or block purchases.

Do my partner and I both need to buy Pro?

No, one Pro subscription covers both partners. The subscriber sends an invitation, and the other person joins with their own account at no extra cost.
